Is Motherboard Wifi good?

I wanted to get a motherboard with on board wifi but the ones I found are expensive and I was wondering if it was better to just get a wireless Pci adapter?

It's better to get a wireless PCI adapter. They're both good, but a PCI Wi-Fi adapter is cheaper and doesn't require you to buy an expensive motherboard. They both work just as good without a problem.

Depends on the motherboard, some use the same highly regarded chips as high end laptops. Just remember to place the antennas properly and the built in wifi will work just fine
