Much confusion is being cause by a lack of information in the OP's original question. Let me rephrase the question.

"I bought a used NZXT H630 and the 3 1/2" hard drive cage is removed/missing. Is it safe to tie wrap a mechanical hard drive inside the case somewhere without using screws?"

Answer. You can get a bracket/tray to fit a 3 1/2" hard drive into a 5.25" cd-rom drive bay. If you have the hardware designed for your 2 5.25" drive bays I would go this route. Those brackets can be purchased for under $10. In the meantime feel free to tie wrap the hard drive tightly so it doesn't vibrate. The only thing to watch for is that some hard drives used to have an exposed circuit board/controller on the bottom and you wouldn't want...
The hard drive should be screwed from the sides not from the back like an SSD. Mechanical hard drive from the sides, SSD from the back or side.

Flip the hard drive so it's sideways, lable facing up, controller circuit board or metal/plastic cover facing down. Screw it from the sides on the left and right hand side of the case. It will sit right in front of the fan and get some cooling.

Currently you have it with the label sideways like an SSD. It should be with label facing up and connectors facing the back of the case towards the inside opposite side as the fan. Jam it in the holder and it will be a tight or just loose fit. The screw holes on the hard drive will line up with the holes on the right and left side of the case. You should be able to get 4 screws in there. AS long as the hard doesn't touch the fan you'll be fine. It can even be 1/2mm away and scrapping the fan....as long as it doesn't stop the fan from spinning. We actually always purposely choose a slot in front of a fan for mounting a hard drive to give it some cooling.

Read the manual for the case and it'll tell you the exact position and location to mount a 3.5" drive. It could be rotated 90 degrees form a conventional case.

Oh.
I thought that white thing was part of the case, not the drive.

What specific case is this? I can't imagine it not having actual 3.5" drive mounts to actually mount that drive.
H630 NZXT, the person who sold this removed the hdd bay/cages to improve airflow. I told him I was going to have an hdd installed so there must be a way for me to install it?

Could you send a picture of an example or draw where you mean I should place the hdd on one of the pictures I attached?
I did read the manual but it seems to only show how to install it inside a cage/bay which I don’t seem to have.
Is this the right direction the hdd should be facing in terms of what you explained? View: https://imgur.com/a/HeyDUlt

I will also cover whole front and top case with 200mm fans when they arrive.

Well.
You're missing the actual part that you would mount that drive to. The drive bay.
Without that drive bay, there is no way to actually mount it properly.

Go back to your ziptie configuration until you can get an actual drive bay for this thing.

Why didn't he include that in the purchase?

The only thing to watch for is that some hard drives used to have an exposed circuit board/controller on the bottom and you wouldn't want that touching the steel of the case or it would short. Looks like yours is covered though. Another method is to just lay the hard drive on the bottom of the case or on top of the power supply shroud. You could use 2 way tap or Velcro to stick the hard drive to the bottom. Much easier than trying to tie wrap sideways in an awkward position.

I made the same mistake as USAFret thinking the back of the hard drive was your drive cage. So ignore all previous suggestions and follow the new ones lol. I checked if there are replacement cages for your case but no luck. Cases are so inexpensive and it's rare someone would want replacement parts that you just buy a new case. I doubt NZXT has replacements. The 5.25" adaptor is your best bet.

Not sure why he did not include them but it’s probably fine If there’s something like that I can buy separately. but will go back to what I did before, 2 screws and 2 zip ties

Yeah it does have space above there in my case. amazon does not work for me for some reason but at a local store they sell these deltaco ones which I’m probably gonna buy:

Any bracket will work. If your case has quick release tabs for the drives, and you buy a quick release bracket it may not work. Screwing a quick release tab to a quick release tab lol. Just a plain old $5 steel bracket will work.

I also remember having long screw extensions like male to female and 1 inch long. Screw those into the hard drive as extensions so it fits a 5.25" slot. I've had those included with cases before. Whatever works,
