Is MSI A88XM-E45 V1 (NOT V2) goes well with a10-7870k godavari? MSI website suggests that only V2 mobo supports godavari apu.

Just like the title says... Will an A10 7870K godavari APU will work compatibly with A88XM-E45 V1? I have this board and planning to upgrade from A10 7800(kaveri) to A10 7870k or perhaps the newer godaveri line ups such as 7890k or athlon 880k when it becomes available.

although both mobos look alike the have diffrent printed circuits thats why the also have different bios. since you have the original mobo you should stick with A10-7850K or any of the other officially suppoted cpu. caution, flashing bios to other than the ones listed may brick your board.

On the last and bottom part, number 9th post by YAGMURCU, he said that V2 bios are viable for flashing to V1 motherboards when installing fm2+ godavari apu/cpu.

Does anyone aside from YAGMURCU tried it?
