Is my 2600k 4.4 ghz getting to hot while gaming?

I overclocked my 2600k to 4.4 ghz a few months ago, its voltage is about 1.344 volts. I was playing dragon age inquisition and i saw that 2 of the cores are getting up to 68-69C and the others are around 63-67. I was wondering, are these safe temps for gaming? I dont exactly remember the temp for prime 95, but i do remember they never went over 75C. Also, the load for my cpu while playing dragon age fluctuates between 68- around 80%.The max real temp says its gone is 72C, though ive never seen it go into the 70s on my overlay. Are these temps normal? im using hyper 212 evo plus. Thank you for any and all replies :)

100C is alittle Over kill Mr FKR but just check what your CPU is doing for others.
Being a I7 4790k OC 4.7Ghz user, I find low 80s is THE HIGHEST I would allow before opening a window turning up fan speed... ect ect.
your temps for the older CPU and the OC seem perfectly fine and I say I avg high 60s with my heater on in winter, but going over 85ish could kill chip life ALOT

well I said that is the limit and at that point the CPU will throttle itself.

I personally will not go over 80C but the OP was not having any dangerous temps.

I am running the same CPU cooler as OP but on an i5 2500k. I run it at 4.8 (1.42v not fixed) and my temps do not go over 80C. I can hit 5.0 but I will hit 100C with cooler as voltage is pushed to the CPU limit at 1.5v

i don't think you understand my temps even as I am running a prime 95 in the background are not going over 72C

the actual thermal limit where intel sets the spec for damage is 100C as this is where the CPU will throttle itself down to reduce temps.

i dont think anybody on this thread is running anywhere near 100C
