I bought a used r9 270x a week or so ago. It couldnt boot into Windows but i managed to install the drivers through safe mode. Installed a few games alongside with heaven benchmark, which went on extreme preset without any hiccups or arfitacts, and the score was more than i expected. CSGO and LOL were also stable around 300 and 140 fps respectively. When i went to the Witcher 3 and clicked on new game before lowering my settings to medium, the computrer instantly froze showing nothing but a giant artifact on the screen. Now i can't boot to Windows with a driver installed. Update mobo and gpu bioses to the latest and also tried Legacy drivers. Got any ideas to why it is like this? Could it be the issue with my HDD rather than my GPU?

Safe mode is not a problem to run.

The system specs are:
i5 2500k stock
p67 pro3
550W Thermaltake Smart modular PSU
8gb @ 1600mhz

PSU is more than appropriate, atleast it should be.

Also plugged the card into my main Ryzen 1200 rig with 600W PSU. Same problem.
