definitely is
Intel® Turbo Boost Technology is being interfered
caused by the stress (torture) of the cpu by the intel burn test you're using
it's fine though after you stop the test will automatic go back at its stock settings
just be carefull with the temperature of the cpu..
3.0 is just the base frequency. Intel Turbo Boost will automatically boost it, as needed, up to 3.7 GHz.
I thought that the 3.7 Turbo feature was the frequency for when a single core configuration was being used.
It's not that simple. It's not a binary turbo/single vs. noturbo/multiple type thing. There are a number of turbo "steps" depending on how many cores are being used.
If I'm not mistaken, the max turbo for your CPU is 3.3/3.4/3.6/3.7 depending on how many cores are being used. Unless I'm thinking of another chip (not positive, I'm on my phone).
