I recently bought a brand new gigabyte 3fan 5700 xt. I used to have a gtx 1060 3gb and I was stuttering in games and lagging a lot so I thought I would buy a new graphics card. Turns out this did not help at all. I am still stuttering in most games and my fps barley had any boost to it and I'm still lagging. I've done almost everything uninstalled the old Nvidia graphics card drivers and I've tried finding a solution but nothing works... I feel like a should have a huge FPS boost and there should be no more stuttering but that's not the case.

Any suggestions?

Solution
Well from all the parts depending on the case mobo form factor that can go in most parts could be reused.

Possible way to go for a start mobo and ram.
Going to a b450 up would give you the ability to run the 2600 pbo/xfr2 or bios Oc.
Not quite sure on the cooler thermal rating so Oc ?

As far as ram
I started with a 2600x and G.skill Flare X 3200 cl14 non-rgb and that ram is in my son's system with a 3600 on a
msi b450 pro carbon ac.

The flare x 3200 cl14 is GFX on most mobo memory Qvls.
3200 cl14 is almost as good as 3600 cl16 numbers wise.
Gamers Nexus stated if the price was to high for 3600 cl16 then save some money and go with the 3200.

Now as I stated early in this thread 3200 for a r5 2600 no problem.

R5 3600 to 3950...

So depends on how much menoey you want to save / spend vs performance you want.

Heres what I have built for my son.
He loves Minecraft
https://www.microcenter.com/product...g-pro-carbon-max-wifi-amd-am4-atx-motherboard

This mobo having built in wifi has saved him 2 x now while I was away for work when the pet rabbit chewed on the Lan cable.
He just turned on the wifi and away he went.
I like it also because of the Bios flashback which most of the msi b450's do.
The msi with Max are 3000 Compliant.
But with bio flashback 1's that don't have Max can be flashed even without the cpu.
You would have the 2600 to do any flashing for a 3000 or higher.
Still up in air on 4000 cpu's and b450's but last I have seen is it can be flashed but will have no return to 2000 or 3000 ability.
Unsure on the newer chipsets on the flashback.

Along with a

With this combination running unigene heaven he's getting a steady 4.225ghz cpu
And with 2 core often going 4.275ghz.
All 3 system are running cpu water coolers.
Gpu wise hes is maxing gpu utilization with clocks 1800-1900 with a slight Oc
mem 425-475 over.
Fps on a 60hz tv doing 13??× 720p 90fps ultra 4x anti alis.
100 to 115fps high

Most of his build has came from my upgrading mine.
But Xmas he gets a big upgrade
A new gigabyte rtx 2070 super and a
Viewsonic 1440p 165hz monitor.
The 1060 6gb will most likely end up in moms with the 2600x I started with.

Just a few ideas parts you can get some thoughts going.

It really sucks we can't seem to find what is holding yours back.
And still thinking of what can be done without spending any more.

Hit me up if you find out anything.
If you come to the Denver area Micro Center is a Great place for parts.
And will price match online competition on the same exact part.
They are located in the south end of town
The I-25 &I-225 area.

Hey
Just thought I would see if your system found away to straighten out?

If not for any plans later Asus is revisioning their B450 boards.
Timeline is TBA.
These boards while allow you to take advantage of XFR2 and Pbo.
Anyway thought I would pass this your way.
