Question Is my AIO dying?

Around 6-7 months ago, I started noticing this sound after cold-booting the PC, the sound went away after 2-3 minutes.

I kept on using it, then two days ago the sound changed and became louder:

Is this a sign of the fans or pumps starting to fail? Pumps are running at a constant speed of about 2k+ RPM. The sound is also not really changing when booting up a game increasing the fan speed from ~800RPM to around 1200. A few minutes after the boot, the sound disappears completely and all I hear is this:

So is there a reason to worry or is this normal for AIOs? I've always felt they were kinda noisy at times.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

The video isn't exactly clear what the source of the sound is. It could be that the fans are rattling, I've never heard the pump on an AIO emit that sort of a sound even after cavitation. It's somewhat clear that you're running a 360mm AIO at the top of the case on a Fractal Design R6 case(?), to which, I'd ask you to roll a sheet of A4 paper and then hold one end to your ear, the other end can be used to probe for the source of the sound...it could even be a wire brushing up against the blades of a fan.

You will need to remove the side panel on the case and probe for the source of the noise. Are you under warranty for your AIO(and perhaps the fans in your case, if it's not the AIO at all)? Make and model of the AIO?

Thanks!

My case is the Fractal Design Define S2 and the cooler is Cooler Master ML240L V2.

The reason I think it might be the pump is because of this video:

Does it not sound similar? It is indeed mounted at the top, see this picture:

I actually have another AIO of the exact same make that got sent to me from the company I bought the pre-built from, but considering I've never changed thermal paste or a CPU cooler before, it's something I'd rather hold off on unless something is actually wrong enough to warrant it. I do have everything ready to do a new install though, including rubbing alcohol for the old paste.

But if this is a common thing, it might start happening again on the newly installed AIO later anyway?
