[SOLVED] Is my Arris sb8200 bad?

One of the channels is not locked (Ch 30) and it has a bunch of correctables and a few uncorrectables its been up for 7 and a half hours.

You could have a cabling problem. The best thing to test is to run coax across the floor to where the cable connects to the outside of the house. Connect just the modem and see if the situation changes.

Most likely no. (I don't think I've ever seen an Arris modem fail).

More likely is that your isp is having issues. I would call them and tell them to run test on your modem because one of your channels isn't locking. I would also run packetlosstest.com at the 1080p setting and look for any late packets.

yea i just got it a couple days ago i guess i will call them
 
Different modems connect differently to the same signal, so they may have to adjust the signal for this modem. To give you something for comparison, I just checked both of my modems at two different sites and both of them have a ton of uncorrectables--I need to call my isp as well!
