is my ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO compatible with the AMD FX-6300 Vishera

I need to buy new CPU and cooling unit. I have an ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO motherboard and wish to purchase the AMD FX-6300 Vishera CPU.
Are these two units compatible ?

Sorry about the late reply, I couldn't remember my email password ( the email that I used for this forum ) and have had difficulty retrieving my email. I had is saved on my computer !!! go figure ?

Problem solved:
I replaced my CPU with a new AMD Athalon II processor. The new processor has a heat sink twice the size of the original AMD processor.
Research per Outlander's advice indicated that you can't install the FX-6300 on this board.
