I made a PC on CyberPower as they had a deal going on and i made this PC for £639. They say that it will be able to run Bioshock Infinite on highest settings at 89 fps, and tomb raider at highest settings at 47 fps, i was just wondering if these benchmarks are correct, and if possible do you know any frames this PC will run on different games, such as crysis and bf4? Thank you for reading, and the feedback will be highly appreciated ;3

It doesn't fully double it, depending on the card it will increase it by about 80 - 95% but it is close enough to doubling it. Both cards work as a single card.

I would say your PSU is fine for now, they are easy to replace at a later date.

However I would suggest getting a 990FX based motherboard now, since you can not do SLI on the 970 that you have chosen.
Definitely a solid build. Using that CPU and cooler you will be able to bump it to 4 - 4.5GHz easily after you get it.

I would prefer 1866MHz RAM as opposed to the 1600MHz that they are including, but you will not be able to tell a difference.

The graphics card should be easily powerful enough to play most current titles on decent settings. The only downside is that since the Motherboard uses the 970 chipset instead of the 990fx chipset you can't drop another one in in SLI.

Thanks a lot, i am thinking about overclocking but only when ive finished fully upgrading it i think, i dont see the point in going for 1866 mhz ram when theres not that much difference, i am not planning on SLI, but if you can give me some reasons about it i might change my mind, dont know that much about SLI?

SLI is basically adding a second graphics card to your computer, and (basically) combining them into a single card that is twice as powerful. Usually this is cheaper than getting a brand new card, as you can get a 1-2 year old GPU for a lot cheaper.

Think of it this way.

1 flagship card = $600 dollars

1 previous generation card = $250.

2 previous cards = more power than current flagship.

SLI = 500 vs flagship = 600

Downsides is that sometimes drivers can be funky and it obviously uses more power since it is running 2 cards.

My point to upgrading in the future is this. You have a solid GPU now, but in 2 years when new titles come out, it will probably be a lot cheaper to buy a second card (same as you have) to double your graphics power than to get a single card in 2 years.

Oh right, thank you very much haha, didnt know it doubled the power, i will aim for that, does that mean i should buy a bigger PSU now or keep the one i have and change when i get a new GPU? sorry about all the questions..just want to get this build right
