Is everything fine? I’ve already done some research and i got few tips, but I’d still use some advice. This build is just about in my budget, costing around $1,650 in my country, but I would be happier if I could save few bucks on something, without sacrificing too much performance. Swapping the i7 for an i5 9600K and the 2060 for a 2070 would save me some money, and shouldn’t cause too much bottleneck, but I’m not sure about it’s effect on performance. I will be gaming in 1080p@144Hz. Thank you for any help.

That is a nice build. Personally I think I would go with an AMD AM4 system though, swap out that 9700K for an R7 2700 which offeres double the thread count and costs a lot less. The money saved would then allow you to go to the 2070 (which is a good pairing with a 2700). Added bonus, the AM4 platform has a much better upgrade path than Intel, with AMD promising support for the new Zen 2 processors coming up soon.

Other than that, personally I would ditch the boot SSD + storage HDD and get a single larger SSD (even if it's a Sata drive). 1tb of Sata SSD will cost about the same as the two drives you've got there and games will perform much better if running from the SSD.

I'd change the CPU to the 9600K but change the SSD to the 500gb version as it's not much more expensive then the 250gb version.

If your going intel your paying so much for the memory I would just go with a patriot viper 2x8 2666mhz for 85$

However if your going and then the best solution is an XPG Gammix D10 2x8 3000mhz for just 80$

I know the 3000mhz is cheaper than the 2666mhz it’s just wierd

Your power supply is really good but you could get a similar one for just 75$ and it could get to 50$ with rebaits

I would recommend going amd for future proofing and for the extra threads I would go with an AMD Ryzen 7 2700 and save 100$

The graphics card is where I am a bit annoyed because for the amount of money you are putting you can easily get a very strong pc that could Crush 1440p and play 50 to 60fps 4K using a 1080 ti
But I would recommend going with an Rtx 2070 for faster memory and ray tracing

As well as You should definitely go with the 500gb MX500 instead of the 250gb

You have gone with a perfect case

The 2700 does come with a really good cpu cooler that could overclock quite nicely with having good temps so you don’t need that cpu cooler

If your going amd then of course you need a new motherboard that’s where I come and tell you what mobo to buy and that is

X470 Aurous for 140$ so its even cheaper by 10$ than your mobo and has all the specs anyone could need it is a high end mobo with really cool rgb’s
