OK, so I went to my local shop to check the prices of components and had to alter some of the components I needed for my PC. I also want to ask about overclocking and whether my motherboard, CPU and CPU cooler will support overclocking as well as WIRED INTERNET ACCESS. Here is my revised and final (hopefully) list:

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor ($179.99 @ TigerDirect)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P ATX AM3+ Motherboard ($74.79 @ Newegg)
Memory: Kingston HyperX 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($79.99 @ Best Buy)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($101.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 4GB Video Card ($257.27 @ TigerDirect)
Case: Corsair Graphite Series 230T Grey ATX Mid Tower Case ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair CX 600W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($54.99 @ Microcenter)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($19.98 @ OutletPC)

Also could someone check my Intel plan and make sure its suitable for Battlefield 4 just in case I decide to go Intel. Will this support overclocking, as well as WIRED INTERNET ACCESS? Can somebody please suggest a cheaper motherboard which has good WIRED INTERNET ACCESS as well as being capable of overclocking. Here is my list:

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($219.99 @ Newegg)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.98 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($171.98 @ SuperBiiz)
Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($77.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X 4GB Video Card ($257.27 @ TigerDirect)
Case: Corsair Graphite Series 230T Black ATX Mid Tower Case ($74.99 @ Microcenter)
Power Supply: Antec High Current Gamer 620W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($84.99 @ NCIX US)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer ($16.98 @ OutletPC)

Oh and I want to ask about the Gigabyte Radeon R9 270 2GB video card and whether it would be a good cheaper alternative if the price ends up being very expensive. I want my PC to be able to run high-END games like BF4 and want to keep the cost of the PC below $900 if possible.

But can you suggest a cheaper motherboard because it ends up getting too expensive
