Ambient temperature won't really affect the performance... unless it's 100+°C outside... GPUs don't throttle till 80°C, your case has good airflow, and your parts should stay cool. If you are worried, get an aftermarket CPU cooler to help, install the PSU with exhaust going out the bottom of the case (if possible), and add a case fan if there's room.
I have both WD drives and a Seagate... can honestly say *my* Seagate has been blessed with no issues for 2.5 years now. I did however have to update the firmware so the drive would not blow itself to bits. Literally smash its own heads into each other if I didn't update.

WD has solid products with good performance...

It's up to you in the end, but you asked for opinions.

Solution
DO NOT GET A GREEN. Blue or Black for this build will work great. Greens have been known to be long-term storage drives with bad firmware. They basically park and unpark their heads hundreds of times an hour and make their effective lifetime a matter of months at most.
