Is my build okay?

I have a 630w PSU. I wanna make sure that my pc won't mess up or anything.
MB: Biostar B75MU3B
CPU: i7 3770
GPU: GTX 970
RAM: 8gb
Optical Drive: ASUS DVD Writer
HDD: WD10EZXR
The PSU is a Raidmax RX-630SS 630w

yes, build is fine.
That cpu is a generation behind though. Which is fine as long as you know this and it's priced accordingly.

Edit: Are you buying this used? Or new? If it's new I would go with a haswell based system. I did some price checking(Canada) and ivy bridge is expensive here compared to haswell.

Yes I know, and I was asking because I had someone say that that's more wattage than I need and it might set my pc on fire or something like that

Having extra wattage isn't going to set your pc on fire. The min recommended for the gtx 970 is 500. You are fine.

I've seen some bad reviews of that PSU, and Raidmax is not known to be a good manufacturer.

I would advise you to get a real quality PSU instead, since if your PSU fries your system you'll be SOL.

All the bad reviews I read from newegg say things about it just dieing early, not anything catastrophic.
