Hello guys, my GPU behaves really weird :/
I will start from the beginning, so please bear with me. Also I am not a native english speaker, but I hope you will understand me. I bought R9 280X from a guy who was using it for like one year and it worked fine so far, (4-5 months) but few days earlier it starded behave strange.
When the windows loaded, suddenly everything on my screen was red. It happened twice in 3 days but a simple reset fixed it. On the 3rd time, I had to reinstal my gpu driver in order to fix it.
It worked and everything was fine for a short period of time.
Two days ago I started getting bsod caused by atikmdag.sys ( driver related problem )
I tried google the issue and fix it but nothing worked except uninstaling gpu driver while having only basic windows vga driver, but that was not a solution.
Bsod started happening more often when I had driver installed ( and I even tried beta driver for test ), maybe in 10 min intervals, or almost instantly when my gpu was under heavy loads.
Sometimes my pc was not shut down by bsod but I had like 20fps in games and it was unplayable.
I was not sure if it is hardware issue with my gpu or software, so I completly deleted everyhing and installed a new copy of windows again.
I am not getting any bsod now, but my fps is stil very low. I was using HWmonitor and my cpu and gpu temperatures are ok, also gpu usage is not low either. Do you think my gpu is slowly dying or is there something else to it?
