So last night I had a power outage at my place and my pc restarted and everything.
When it booted it said, Asus anti surge protection was triggered due to my psu being unstable,
My specs ,
I3 4170 3.7Ghz
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz Corsair
EVGA GeForce GTX 780 (reference)
antec 550VP 80 plus bronze certified
Everything powers on fine, id just like to ask any of y'all if you have had a power outage , I'm just worried because my 780 is new RMA from Evga and I just got it.

Solution
If your computer is powering on fine, there's no damage. Sounds like the protections on your PSU and motherboard worked as intended. I live in a rural area and experience quite a few outages. I have been lucky and have never had a component failure due this.

Your 780 should be fine, what you need to worry about is your PSU. Get yourself a decent surge protector while you're at it, otherwise you put your PSU at risk. The PSU protects against surge, but it's meant to be a last resort in an effort to not fry other components.

If everything powers on, fans and all, you're likely fine. Just watch it for a while.
