Is my computer outdated? Thanks!

I was talking with some friends who told me to do an upgrade, something I did, but still even after mentioning the up, they still say that is short, since no one uses processors and boards LGA775 ...

What do you think of my pc:

Processor: Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40 GHz
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5450 w / 1GB ddr3
RAM: 4GBs of RAM ddr3 1066
Motherboard: ASUS P5G41T-M LX
Hard Drive: 500GBs - 7200rpm
Operating System: Windows 7 64Bit

If it is already very outdated, what do you suggest to exchange?

Well i'm not even close to a professional,but i think a new GPU would be really good for you

Whats the difference if its "out dated". If it works fine and your happy with the performance why bother.
As a system yes it is very outdated. The GPU, processor and hard drive. Do you want to spend money on a whole new system?

An SSD would give you the biggest jump in speed. Use that 500gb disk as storage. You can get a 120 GB SSD for 100 bucks these days.
