Is my connection good enough for gaming?

I have a 3mb down 1 mb up connection. it is the fastest speed available at my address. I have a 34ms ping time and 0% packet loss

You should be fine, online games use a relatively small amount of your bandwidth. As long as your connection is strong and consistent you should be ok, but if someone else is downloading something you may suffer.

Yeah, as long as no-one else is using the internet at the same time. If they are it is gut wrenchingly terrible.

To put it into perspective a mate of mine has about 1.5mb down and 1mb up and can handle about 8 players online playing games or watching youtube with no issues. You will be fine with your connection.

I don't even get 1mb down or up and i can play everything online fine.
