Is my cooling setup okay?

Hi. I recently put some new components into my computer (namely a new video card with better power supply to handle it), and my computer keeps freezing, so I've figured out that I don't have enough cooling in my computer (at freeze the CPU temp would be at more than 45C and rising). So, I've added two additional fans after the upgrade, after the first one it still kept freezing but after the second one it seemed to be doing it well. I know positive pressure is always good, but do I have too much of it in the setup below, and is this setup good?

1/1 slots used on front for intake (for hard drive)
2/2 slots used on side panel for intake
1/2 slots used on top for intake (just put this one in, used the slot that aims directly at the CPU heatsink)
0/1 slots used on bottom (blocked by wires from PSU even with cable management, not the most effective placement of a fan)
1/1 slots used on back for exhaust

I'm just not that experienced with this kind of stuff, but I've heard that positive pressure is the best thing to have in a PC. Doing the math, right now I have a 4:1 ratio of intake to exhaust fans, so is that too much intake? Thanks for the support!

Top should be exhaust! Rule of thumb is intake on front and side, exhaust on back and top. Remember hot air rises and fan blowing in from the top tries to keep the hot air in the case.

I've already made sure it's none of that, as I have done a completely clean install of Windows 8 and the freezing still persisted. I'm also pretty sure this is a cooling problem as it happened to me before when I changed nothing about my computer except a heating vent behind my system was recently opened and was blowing hot air right into the exhaust.
