Hey is my Corsair VS450 450w enough for my XFX Radeon Rx 580 8gb xxx edition?

XFX says the minimum Power should be 500w and the recommended is 550w
Important Specs:

Could you elaborate?
Driver updates for the card have increased performance but also increased power usage so it uses more than it did at launch and the factory OC'd cards use even more. Lower quality low wattage PSU paired with a fairly power hungry gpu is going to be problematic(shutdowns under load for example). With an RX 580 you want a decent 550w PSU.

An RX 5500xt or GTX 1660, 160 super would be better options as they use less power and have equal to better performance. This is assuming you have the newer(better) gray version of the VS, if you have the older orange or green version then you'd still want to look into replacing it.

It will work if you stick with moderate\average overclocks. If your cranking it to the moon the wattages will soar. I only included an extra 20watts for the cpu and a extra 20 watts for the gpu.

If you set the cpu to 2600X speeds and a small gpu overclock, maybe a extra 100mhz, it should be ok.
