Hey guys my computer seems to experience a lot of frame drops recently in Fortnite and sometimes in Overwatch I know the Gtx 750 ti isn’t that good anymore but i was wondering if my Amd phenom Oo x4 b95 is bottlenecking my EVGA GTX 750 Ti FTW.
Here is a list of my main specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 B95
4x2 gb ddr3 1333mhz ram
EVGA GTX 750 Ti FTW Edition

Thanks for taking your time to read this

Na the RAM is the one part that does meet the system recommendation. More powerful CPU and then video card. You would be better off putting the money toward 8GB's of DDR4 for a Ryzen build. Something like this or the $95 AMD 2200G.

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor ($164.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock - B450 Pro4 ATX AM4 Motherboard ($64.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($54.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $284.97

Yup the CPU may get you a few frames faster. The video card is at the bottom of the requirements so dont expect much at normal resolutions. The only way a CPU would really help you out is playing at a very low resolution. If you play at 720p the new CPU should give you a few more years with the 750ti.

Since my ram is really slow at 8gb 1333 MHz ddr3 will getting 16 gb of ddr4 at 3000 MHz help with loading in things or with FPS?

Thanks! I think I may just get 16 gb of ram though since I like having a lot of stuff open. I think I’ll get used parts to make it cheaper too but thanks man I’ll stick with the 2600
