Is my CPU bottlenecking?

I just bought a GTX 780 ti and have seen major improvements in performance, but I'm still seeing FPS drops every now and then in games like Crysis and especially Assassin's Creed IV on max settings. I don't think it's because of my CPU, but I'm not sure. It's an I7 2600.

Nah. You are good. That is a 4 core processor with 8 threads 3.4GHz. I don't see how that could bottleneck your GPU. And by the way. Assassins Creed 4 is an EXTREMELY POWERFUL game so its not a big surprise you are seeing framerate drops. Anyway your CPU is fine. Bottlenecks mostly occur if you use a Dual Core or a very slow Quad Core with a 780 Ti Class card.
