Hey everyone,
I am having a problem with my PC, the problem is not new but it got really annoying and i am looking for a solution now.
My Specs:
Intel Core i5 7500 3.4 GHZ CPU
AMD Radeon RX4800 8GB Red Devil GPU
ASRock H110M-DVS R3.0 Motherboard
Cooler Master B500 v2 PSU
2x 4GB GSKILL RAM

So to briefly explain the problem:
When I got my PC new around 1 year ago, everything was fine and all games were running perfectly fine how I wanted them to for the amount I paid for my PC.
But suddenly when I bought and played an early access game (The Wild Eight on Steam) my screen sometimes would turn black after around 20 min of playing. I could still hear sound but i had no image so i had to restart the computer.
This happened several times and got really annoying but i thought it would be about the game being early access and not very well optimized.
Then from one day to another my GTA V would not get me the FPS i wanted anymore. (Before always much higher than 60 fps, had it capped to 60 because that was enough for me. After I had around 60 in some regions(weirdly enough the more crowded ones) and 30-40 in less crowded regions on the map while driving. Not only did the frames drop, but the game would start to lag quite a lot. I also got framedrops in games like Fortnites PVE mode when there is a lot of zombies around.
What I tried so far:
Changing Power settings
Updating GPU drivers
Checking temperatures with MSI Afterburner (around 35° in idle, around 70° full load)
some other things during the last year i already forgot 🙁
I even swapped my graphics card with the one of my brother which is the exact same model. The results were also pretty bad in some cases even worse BUT the card did not go as loud as mine.
So my guess is that there could be something wrong with my CPU.

I hope there is somebody who can help me figure it out but i am thankful towards everyone trying to help me 😀

Solution
very much doubt anything wrong with cpu although you cold do with a better cooler for a start but my guess would be the PSU is botom of the line £45 would be my first upgrade because the GPU is fine

I would recommend an EVGA SuperNova Gold G2 / or new G3 /GS / GQ, Platinum P2 / PS, or Titanium T2 or a Seasonic M12-II Evo or S12-II
GOOD PSU EVGA is a B2, G2, G3, P2, GS, PS, or T2. Avoid the EVGA B1 and G1 series/ I bought a EVGA G3 with 7year garentee

Solution
I too would suspect the PSU. CoolerMaster doesn't have very many PSUs that are considered good, and unfortunately the B500 v2 isn't on that list. If you are on a tight budget, I'd look at the Corsair CXM lineup (NOT the Builder Series models) Or look at almost any Seasonic, EVGA SuperNOVA series (except gen1, and the new B3 series), Corsair AX, TX, HX, or newer RM series.
