Question Is my CPU broken? WHEA error

Hi,

Today I did get a WHEA error, I have explained everything below regarding the error.
What I’m wondering is; is this only due to a hardware issue? Or can it be software related?
As the log state it says it’s because of the CPU. But I can’t see how the cpu can break now?
Please read When did it happen, under that section I'll explain everything how it did happen.

I'm trying to re-install Windows now as I just want to make sure that it's not a driver or software issue. But I don't know how to trigger the WHEA error so thats harder to do.

OCCT small and big - no issues.
Chkdsk - no issues
Memtest86 4-pass - no issue

— My hardware —

MSI Meg z490 ACE I9 10900k 64GB ram GeForce 2070 Super
All drivers and BIOS is up to date and it has been for some time.

— BIOS settings —

This CPU are not overclockt in fact I have been tweaking the BIOS after intel default settings I want my cpu as intel intended it to be. Vcore etc are set to auto but I don’t have any overclocking like all cores always on turbo boost or similar like that.
Only thing that I have in Bios is that the RAM is set to XMP1.

— Has it happen before? —

No, I have been using my computer for about 2 months and it has never happen before.

— When did it happen? —

It did happen when I was ending a Skype call. The PC did freeze for about 5-6 seconds and I did notice that I was disconnected from Vmware horizon connection that we are connecting with a smart card. The smart card reader is in my keyboard and the led lights that are flashing on the keyboard when the smart card is connected was not flashing at all.

My CPU temp was about 33-35c when it did happen.

— Have you done anything before this happened? —

Yes, I have (yesterday) installed nvidia drivers update and also updates for the sound.
I did also disable a function in bios called Enhanced Turbo yesterday.
And today I did install a software that was going to control the fans but I did uninstall it right away. The name of the software was: Argus Monitor
I have also turned down the fans to 400 rpm until the cpu are at 50c I did have it on 450 rpm before.

Would you be able to grab the dump files and post them on a downloadable link here? Info/guide if needed

WHEA stands for Windows Hardware Error Architecture. And the majority of the time, is caused by faulty hardware. The dump file might be able to shed more light.

I don't have any dumpfile as I did not get any BSOD it was just freezing a little then it started to work again.
And it says :
A corrected hardware error has occurred.

I'm still wondering if it was something that did happen with the vcore setting or similer as I did change the Enhanced Turbo from Auto to disabled in my BIOS. And I did change that today the same day I did get the WHEA error.
I have changed it back and I guess that I'll see if I get a WHEA again?
