Question Is my CPU compatible with my motherboard??

Hey guys, so I have an Intel i5 7400 and recently acquired a newer MOBO. The new board is a Gigabyte B360M DS3H
Can I use this board?
Would it be any better than my MSI H110M PRO-D???

No it's not compatible , B360 is only for 8th and 9th gen Intel CPUS.

No, the 300 series mohterboards (H370, H310, B360, Z370/390) support 8th & 9th Gen CPUs.

the H110 would work, if it has the appropriate BIOs update installed.

Yeah I’m currently using the H110.
What cpu would be good for this new board?
I wanna use the new board as it has m.2 slot and seems to be a better mobo from what I can tell. I’m not terribly worried about $$$ just want to build a good system. Obviously I would like to do it as cost effectively as possible
