Is my cpu cooler fine

I'm on a journey to build a beast pc. But have a lot of questions as a first timer. and one of my questions is if a nzxt kraken x52 will cool my cpu enough, as I'm going to overclock a i7 8700k to as far as I can

Unless you just want replace it, I would give it a shot. Then assess the cooling based on the actual temperatures. If it remains in the 40 - 70 C range under load (gaming) then you are fine. If not then upgrade the CPU cooler. The upper end should be under 85 C on the stress tests.
