Hi there,

I don't have much knowledge about OC, or decorating components like Barbies... with liquid cooling, RGB colors n stuff...:D

It has been 4 years I think, or more than that for my PC. It's ASUS G30AB, default one-click OC to 3.7, 3.9 and 4.1. I have started using 4.1 all the times now, it's much smoother. But, i was wondering if my CPU is degraded or something? I mean, it's been more than 4-5 years... :heink:

And then, these benchmarks....ugh! :pfff: -- I don't know why they can't just give us a nice summary, as in: YOUR PC IS DOING OKAY/GOOD/DEGRADED etc. Somebody please look at the numbers and let me know... so i can break my bank and go on a shopping spree, yay! :bounce:

I am going through that phase.... you know, the one where you have been single for many years and accumulated some money that you wish to spend towards something good :pt1cable: But, i don't want it to be an extravagance.

Your help is appreciated, thank you. :ange:

It looks just fine. The best upgrade you can actually do is a new gpu over the gtx 770 or an ssd. Also ever cleaned the pc out to help it stay cool? One thing to note is that most watercoolers will begin to fail at their 5th year of service (the pump dies) so that is something to watch out for.

I did. I have a EVGA GTX 970 SC 4GB with normal OC. I don't play many games, only cs:go when i feel like it. Mostly, Graphics/Video rendering n stuff... :sarcastic:

I also added Samsung 850 EVO 500GB, but I have like 90% of it free. I think I will buy another 120GB just for OS and use 500GB for Files(Docs, Rendering location...)

These are the benchmarks: www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/2869708

Would there be any difference if I add 2400hz 8 or 16GB RAM? Currently, i have a ADATA 16GB 1600 DDR3L and it gives me 20.9 gb transfer rate... maybe it's low? :(

You'll notice no difference between the faster and slower ram.

Oh, ok. Thanks for the heads up. Imma just buy a nice PC case then. I have only one 120mm fan, and that too attached to the H60 liquid cooler :(
