Is my CPU frequency normal???

Today when I opened UEFI Bios in my computer (opened it for the first time) , I saw that my CPU frequency was 3293.00 MHz. My CPU is i5 4440 having a base freq of 3.1 GHz and turbo boost freq of 3.3 GHz. Is it supposed to be that high in BIOS?? In CPU-Z normally it shows 798 MHz (multiplier 8) when idle. So is it normal or something is wrong??Please reply

3293 Mhz is the equivalent to 3.3 Ghz, so there's nothing wrong there.

The reason why the BIOS and CPU-Z give different results is because the CPU dynamically adjusts its clock speed depending on the task it's doing. When idle, it lowers the clock speed, and when busy, it speeds up again.

that'll be bclck being marginally under 100, nothing to worry about, don't adjust it, values above 100 can cause instability including corruption of disk writes, more common above perhaps 103, but it is possible above 100.

This might be a noob reply but I used balanced mode in the settings of my PC.
