Is my CPU hot?

I have a Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3820 CPU @ 3.60GHz and i'm playing BF3 on all highest settings. It runs at 140F (60c). Is this too hot, or am I just worrying too much?
The rest of my rig:
HD 7970
16 GB corsair ram
1000w PSU
Thermaltake Element G Gaming Case
Note: It is liquid cooled.

If 60C is the temp at non-OC idle, then yes it's high, but not so much as to cause damage. If that is under load, then no, it's perfectly fine.

Its not OCed, just kind of a computer noobie and it scared me a little to see it that high

60C is a non-issue. Most current CPUs have at least 90C TJmax so there isn't much to worry about until you hit 80C, though most people here would not be comfortable with it.

what liquid cooling are you using?
60c is not hot but for gaming and a liquid set up . .i would hope for a little better.

Your CPU is safe up to 100C. But best to keep it under 80C regular use.

What is your cooler? Wouldn't happen to be an asetek, would it?

Didn't build it myself, bought it through iBuypower.
This is what it says in the order fourm:
Liquid CPU Cooling System [SOCKET-2011]
No mention of brand

I was thinking it was ivy bridge too. Max temp would actually be something like 91c, then.
