I bought a new graphics card Inno 3D Gt 730 2gb gddr5. I have Pentium Dual core e6600 3.06 ghz and socket 775 motherboard. I am planning to buy a new motherboard so I can use my new graphics card because I think my mobo is not functioning whenever I put or replace a new hardware, It seems like the socket looses everytime I do that. Is it okay to attach my new graphics card in a socket 775 motherboard?

please don't recommend an expensive stuff. I'm in a tight budget. haha ^_^ I dont want to waste my cpu and graphics card.

Solution
no you cant but you can get a pentium g even first gen that will be much much faster than the one you currently have and the prices are usually below $50 .. if you have a $100 then just buy a cheap 1155 board and pentium and you will be better of

as long as the socket 775 motherboard as a pci e slot then there will be no problem attaching it to the new motherboard ... i wont recommend any expensive stuff but i would encourage you not to invest in that socket and go for a 1155 motherboard but if you cant then its not the end of the world

So I can use my e6600 cpu in a 1155 socket motherboard? Sorry, newbie here.

As I said. I can't touch my motherboard right now. Once I move some hardware on it, it's over. It's just a miracle that it function after I tried what you have said earlier

Thanks bro. This helps. ^^
