Is my CPU not very good for my build?

Ever since I put this CPU in with my new parts, whenever I watch streams on Twitch, just browse on Google Chrome and play games the CPU usage goes crazy.

Can anyone help?

PC parts:
GPU: Nvidia GTX 760.
CPU: AMD FX 4300.
RAM: 8GB.
Hard drive: 500GB.

explain what u mean by usage

The percentage of usage on the task manager goes above 70% or whatever else but it uses up a lot. I don't know if I need to upgrade my CPU?

that is a lot for web browsing even with this older processor. what programs are running in the background

The thing is I have task manager open and it only seems to be the game itself or the Google Chrome that uses up all that CPU. As well as when I first open task manager it freezes for like 5 seconds until it shows. I don't understand what it could possibly be.

To answer your question, I pretty much don't have anything running that is a problem.

maybe malware or spyware.. run malwate byte or any good virus software to rule it out.

you could get an FX 8350 which is an am3+ cpuo by Amd. if you want to upgrade. just need to check power requirements of the motherboard
