Also when i benchmark it says 4.0 ghz but apparently im OC'd to 4.7? idk

Download CPU-Z and check it there if it says 4.7 then its 4.7.

The question would be by overclock for ZERO improvement in most programs? At best 2-8fps in games. Nothing really to justify shortening the life of the cpu. Resetting the bios back to default settings should stop it from being overclocked.

In the bios it says somewhere reset to factory defaults. Select that and try it.

Used CPU-Z and i know that it shows real time clock speeds? This is what it came up with though :

the thing is i want it overclocked, I'm just not sure if it is because it doesn't run as good as i think it should on CPU intensive games.

The answer is if CPU-Z says its 4.7 than it is 4.7 in your operating system. Bios says its 4.7. Looks like you have it overclocked. See what CPU-Z SAYS. 99.999999% SURE you have an overclock of 4.7
