Good morning.
I have a Coffe Lake 15 8600k @3.6 CPU.

this are mi specifitacions:

GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 OC 8GB Asus
CPU: I5-8600k @3.60GHz
Ram: 8 GB 2666 Mhz
MB: gigabyte z370 HD3
OS: Win 10 x64

Bought it more than a year ago, but just now I am thinking about overclocking it.

Thing is, that looking at my BIOS and CPU-Z, seems to be already overclocked at 4.2. Is this true?

In case it is (or not), looking at the Core Voltage (moves between 0.6 and 1.1), I should go higher right? Maybe tu 4.6

Solution
Your CPU cannot overclock on itself. Your CPU supports turbo-boost up to 4.30ghz, which by the way is automatical increasing in frequency/power when it needs it.What are you looking at 4101mhz on the photo is the turbo boosted frequency, not overclocked. Look for turbo boost on the official page for your processor: https://ark.intel.com/content/www/u...-8600k-processor-9m-cache-up-to-4-30-ghz.html. And also, only overclock if you really need it.
