Is my CPU overheating?

How to know that your CPU is overheating? I'm running AMD FX 8350 on Gigabyte 970A DS3P. I have a Thermaltake cabinet, with 2 intake and 1 exhaust 120mm. The CPU cooler is the stock one that came with the CPU.

My rig is about 2.5 years old. Haven't had much problems for years. I'm into this game called Vainglory, it's for IOS/Android platform but I play it on my PC using emulator (BlueStacks 3). After long gaming sessions my pc restarts (re-boots) on its own without any warning.. it's happening every often, it's almost inevitable now, should I be worried?

Also, my cpu fan tends to get a lot noisy with time. I'm thinking of upgrading to a Water Cooler, in any case, preferably mid range Corsair H series. What should I do? Help me out here guys?!

Monitor CPU temp during game, using tools like HWinfo, and report back. Random restart can be caused by many issues. PSU is also possible, what model is your psu?

since you have this system did you dust it off also it would be a good thing to repaste cpu cooler ,for temp readings and others you could use hwinfo .

It is a poor quality unit, but check CPU temp during game first. If temp is less than 80 Celsius, borrow a good PSU and try gaming again. Package does say 70 and googled a bunch, many claiming 80 is fine with their usage.

Max safe temp for FX 8350 is 70 C on the package, and 61 C on the core.
