Hi i had a workstation PC. I'm designing animations and playing games with that PC. I've overclocked my Xeon X5492 to 4.00 GHz with 1.39V Voltage.
Then i've tested OC stability with using Prime95 for 42 Hours 29 mins. Stability test gone well CPU was stable with 0 problems i'm assume CPU %100 stable. But CPU temperature was little bit high to me. CPU was hit maximun 84 degrees. I'm using Corsair H60 Water cooler with Xigmatek PTI-G3606 thermal compound. I'm gonna try decrease the cpu voltage little bit. Should i turn to stock speeds. Is It safe for my CPU? Thanks. I had a old system i know.
