Question Is my cpu too cold?

I got a new cooler for my amd fx-8350 and my idle temperatures range from 8° to 20° depending on the temperature of my room. Is that too cold?

Considering its impossible to get sub ambient temperatures without an active (peltier, LN2O, etc) coolers, you are using a program incapable of monitoring FX temps properly.
Use AMD overdrive and look at the thermal margin, that is the only accurate way to check FX series temps.

To answer your question, its impossible with a conventional setup to have a processor be "too cold", thats just a result of the program reporting wrong temps.

Your room must be real cold for those FX temps.

well never seen so lo9w temperatures... If you dont see any problem with the preformance of the processor it should be fine. You can monitor your cpu usage and temps in msi aftreburner overlay in games.
