thanks for replying to my earlier post you guys about the BGA sockets

My CPU-Z is saying Socket 1168 BGA, BUT
but I finally found on intel the Package Specification and it says on there
"Sockets Supported - FCBGA1356"

so which which socket type do I have? is it 1168 BGA as said on CPU-Z or FCBGA1356?
what does the numbers mean 1168 and 1356?

The numbers you ask about are the number of pins (connectors) the CPU has (and the socket, logically). As for what your socket is.... let me try to see what your CPU is.... no, my crystal ball isn't working right now, sorry, can't help 😉

In order for anyone to answer your question you must first provide the necessary information, such as what specific processor are you referring to? Without that your numbers are completely meaningless.

You were also told that a BGA processor cannot be upgraded as it is soldered to the motherboard and does not sit in a socket. Asking the same question over and over will not change the answer.
