Hello,
how can i know if my DP cable is VESA certified or not? I don't found the cable on vesa database, but on the cable i have the DP logo, doesn't mean that is certified? The cable is "E239426-CS AWM 20276 30V VW-1 FT-1 HONGLIN", supplied with the monitor LG UL500-W.

Thanks in advance

If you can´t find it on the vesa certified product list, most likely it´s not certified.

If you wanna be safe, that pin 20 is not connected, get a simple multimeter and check if there is a connection from the one side cable port pin 20 to the other side of the cable port pin 20.

Thanks for the reply. I have used this cable for 5/6 months, for the moment all are fine (i think). For security, now i'm using the HDMI cable, and i bought another dp cable (this)
