Default should be okay, I would increase by 0.05 volts if you are overclocking by any amount through the BIOS

What motherboard?

For DDR3 normal voltage is 1.5V, overclocking voltage 1.65V.
For DDR4 normal voltage is 1.2V, overclocking voltage 1.35V.

MB GA-Z97-D3H-CF. CPU 4790K O.C. 4.6.

DRAM Voltage now @ 1.668V. Was previously @ 1.608V. Not sure why it increased. I did notice the System Memory Multiplier was 21.33 and now reads 16.00.

It is not recommended to go above 1.65V.
May decrease life expectancy of cpu memory controller.

it's set to Auto. I have no Idea why it reads higher than 1.5V. But it was 1.608V a few years ago and now it's 1.668V. I dont know why it has increased.

I did add a new tower cooler. Maybe that? All I can think of.
