is my gaming pc build good?

cpu: amd fx 6300
mobo: asus m5a97 le r2.0
gpu: amd radeon r7 265
ram: patriot viper xtreme 2x4Gb
psu: xfx ts 550W
hard drive: WD 640 Gb sata 2 3Gb/s

i already received/ordered these parts, so no need to suggest anything a tiny bit better. Just want to make sure all is good and compatible.

would have gotten a better gpu but its too late i guess. mobo and hard drive seem outdated

It's all compatible, should work fine...(and regardless of any build you post up you always have people telling you how they would have done it better )

■ im using my old hard drive and moniter (which is 1600x900). for the price thats best mobo i found. as for the gpu, i didn't want to go over $140, but i found it for $145, and im pretty sure thats the best at that price range. plus, i wont be able to play at 1080p, so i dont need an unbelievably amazing one lol
im planning to play games like battlefield 3, skyrim, far cry 3, and newer games like thief as well.

anyway, i was more concerned about compatibility, just wanted to make sure i didnt miss anything lol. but still though, thanks a lot for giving me ur thoughts!
