Is my gaming pc future proof?

I was wondering if my pc will make it for a couple of years more or are there any recommendations that you guys would suggest me upgrading?

These are my specs:

-MSI Z87-GD65 Motherboard
-I7 4770K
-2 DDR3 4GB ram sticks of 1600 mhz
- Corsair CX750M Power Supply (80 plus bronze)
-Gtx 980 Graphics card
-Corsair H105 liquid cpu cooler
-1 TB WD hdd
-1TB WD blue hdd
-250 GB Samsung SSD 850 EVO

This is a very broad question with many different answers.. By future proof do you mean you won't have to worry about fps lag for a couple more years, or you will be able to play games for a couple of years dealing with fps lag at low setting? Be more specific on what you mean by future proof.

there is no 'future proof,' but yeah an 8gb, high end haswell i7, gtx 980 platform will last you a good while still. Like, probably 4-6 years at least, at which point a GPU upgrade will keep you another few years.
