[SOLVED] Is my gpu bottlenecked?

I have i5 4570 and my gpu is rx 480 8gb should i upgrage to i5 4690 or i7 4770

What is GPU usage and CPU usage in the games you play with vsync disabled? If CPU usage is significantly higher than GPU usage you have a CPU bottleneck more than likely.

Going from a 4570 to a 4690 is hardly an upgrade at all. A 4770 would be a decent upgrade from a 4570. I doubt a 4770 would bottleneck a RX 480 in pretty much anything at 1080p or higher.

I don't think the i5-4570 should be holding you back....or if it is....not much.
I would look at the CPU and GPU usages in a demanding game.
I think this will give you a better idea.
I don't think going to an i7-4770 with your current GPU is going to get you much as far as fps.
