Is my gpu broke?

Okay so, the other day I decided I wanted to go on bf1 so I redownloaded and started playing. Midway through me playing my pc just switched off, no blue screen, no nothing just straight off. After this I tried turning it back on and nothing was displaying on my monitors. So I try and figure out what it is, and by switching out my gpu for my old one. My pc works fine with the old one in. From fiddling around a bit I’ve found my gpu fans no longer spin at anything, bios doesn’t detect it and I can’t seem to find a solution. I’ve tried uninstalling my and drivers and reinstalling them but that didn’t work. I then tried updating bios but that didn’t work either. I’ve made sure the power pins are plugged in correctly and everything seems fine but still no hope. The reason I’m still hopeful that it works is that the light is still showing on the side of it. Please help been trying to figure this out for a week now.
