Is my GPU broken?

I downloaded Battlefield 4, I was playing it when my fan failed to function and my graphics card went to 90 Degrees Celsius. I was using Palit Thunder Master to control my fan but it did not seem to be working. Now whenever I launch a game, they do not function properly. Things on the screen stretch and I get random odd colour flashes, plus when I exit the game I get strange coloured borders around my windows. Also when trying to load some games they crash very often, with a notification popping up telling me that my display driver has stopped working .Is it broken or can this be fixed? I can supply screenshots if necessary.

AMD Athlon X4 750k Quad Core @4.02GHz
Palit GeForce GTX 560 SE
4GB DDR3 1300MHz Vengeance RAM

Try doing a clean install of the GPU driver first.
