Question is my gpu compatible with my motherboard

my friend is giving me a 1050ti for my pc but i don't know if it is compatible with my motherboard or cpu
my motherboard is a Lenovo Win8 STD MM DPK IPG
and my cpu is a AMD A6-3650

Can you pass on the SKU to your Lenovo Prebuilt? A link to the GPU you're being handed will also be of help to the community. If your case is slim/half height, the GPU will need to have a half height expansion cover. Please include the age of your prebuilt as well.

i unfortunately don't have the sku for my pc but my pc is about 12 years old.
as for the link I'm currently working on getting in contact with my friend so i will be able to provide a link later.

If it has a PCI-Express x16 slot, it's compatible. Whether your PSU can handle it is another story altogether.
