Is my GPU dead?

Hello everyone,
So about 3-4 days ago I was playing some games with some friends when my pc restarted out of nowhere I waited for it to boot and when it got to the desktop it shut down and restarted. I took the GPU out and that fixed it, however, I just want to know if it could be the motherboard and not the GPU.A day before my pc started acting up there was a storm and the power went out on my street which i think could have caused the problem

yeah i put the GPU back in and then i got lines on my screen and keeps restarting and cant update the drivers bc it keeps restarting my pc

What is your full pc spec including make and model of psu. It sort of sounds like a dying psu.

Is that CX750 with the green CX on the label? The old green CX’s were fairly low end quality. 750w is way more than you need though, if you have another psu or can borrow one I would try that.

yeah i cant ask my mate if i can put his GPU in my pc but will that do any damage to his or i cant try my gpu in his pc

so i went to my friends house and i put my GPU in his pc and it worked fine he put his GPU in mine and it work fine untill i opened a game to put stress on the pc and it restarted so i think i might be the PSU but could it be the motherboard
