Is my GPU dieing?

Hey guys i have HD 6970 and everything was fine untill today, basically my games run on high fps but after a while my screen freaks out and screen gets full of pixels and game freezes and crashes like in the screenshot that i added this happens only if playing certain games but i can use it perfectly on browser desktop etc.. here is the screenshot of how it looks : http://prntscr.com/7pi9pl

Have you been Overclocking it? If not I would check the temps on the Die of the card while you are gaming to see if it had bad cooling or not.

No the temps dont go over 50c i was stressing it with aida and screen turned off and didnt go on untill i restarted nothing was overclocked

I had a similar problem with youtube videos, they stuttered and the sound stopped working propperly.
I had to do a wipe and reinstall windows for the problem to cease
How old and how full is your HDD?
