Is my gpu dying?

I have had a sapphire R-270x for maybe a year and a half now. And up until recently was working fine. But all of a sudden, my graphics card stared to act very funny on me. First it was a bunch of grey screens. Like it would just display a grey screen after a while, than turned to white, then to a hot pink, then to bars across my screen. Like it would be two different shades of blue staggered one after another.

I did a stress test on it for a half hour and it didn't "crash" or anything.

What could be wrong with it?

--Specs--
MSI 970-G43 (motherboard)
AMD fx-6300 (cpu) [stock speed]
EVGA 600 b (power supply)
8gb of G.Skill ares 2133mhz (RAM)
1tb Western ditgal blue (hard drive)
Sapphire R-270x (graphics card) [stock speed]

It could be the GPU itself, but could also be other things as well. This could be a dying PSU, not delivering the power, or stable enough power, the GPU needs.....or drivers issues, and possibly the monitor itself (though not likely).

What drivers are you currently using for the 270x? Also, what is the status of the 12v+ rail for your PSU (best to look at this value in the UEFI/BIOS).

I think it was a driver issue, and that night I updated my drivers or downgraded. Either way, I did something to my drivers and I have not seen the issue since than. And I thought it was my GPU or even PSU, but my stress test should have shown one of the two. Because it was on full load for half an hour and it would have shut down if I did not have enough power. So yeah.
