Is my GPU dying?

Hello guys, i want some thoughts on my problem:

I started experiencing stuttering (including with sounds they sound like microphone static for short periods) in games like 2 days ago, but the fps is still constant. The only game where i have fps drops is overwatch where it drops from constant 70 to 30-40 (if i restart the game it goes back to normal).

Do you think my gpu is dying or is there any other problem with my pc?

Pc specs:

-gtx 750Ti
-i5 3350p
-8gb of ram (1333Mhz)
-and a 450w PSU

Are you using an HDD or SSD? If HDD, is it getting old/full? Have you plugged anything in that is grounded creating a possible ground loop? Make sure your drivers are up to date. What version of windows are you running? What antivirus if any? Make sure it is well seated in the PCI-E slot and screwed into the case.

Im using an 1TB HDD, it is like 3 years old and it has 200 free Gb of space, nothing gorunded is plugged in, my nvidia driver's are up to date i think the other drivers are aswell, and i use the antivirus that came with the windows (i use windows 10 x64) i made a scan with malwarebytes and it didint find anything.

Im using an 1TB HDD, it is like 3 years old and it has 200 free Gb of space, nothing gorunded is plugged in, my nvidia driver's are up to date i think the other drivers are aswell, and i use the antivirus that came with the windows (i use windows 10 x64) i made a scan with malwarebytes and it didint find anything.

200GB should be more than enough to not have stuttering issues, so that's out imo. I would keep saying possible ground loop but the static should be consistent so that's probably not the case. Have you checked to make sure all your audio gear (Headphones, mics, speakers, etc) all have a solid connection? (ie no cable damage, jack damage on either side and so on?) Because if the connection keeps cutting out mid-game it could be causing windows to switch audio device thus forcing most modern games to switch with it and making them stutter as they do so, then going back to the old audio device when the connection is restored. Also try playing with windows antivirus off as if it tries to scan while you game that could be causing your HDD to start stuttering from scanning files.

My headset is working properly ( i think) beacuse when i listen to music on youtube and so on it works like it should and i will try playing with the antivirus off. BTW can it be from dust gathering up in the pc? Last time i cleaned it was 2 months ago ( i cant clean it right now beacuse is winter and im using like a little air blower wich makes a lot of dust)

It's possible but rather unlikely to be from dust. If it's dusty to the point of causing severe cooling issues then it could be a thermal throttle I suppose. All I can think of would be your HDD is just having a hard time finding files and causing stuttering. Is it at all consistent or can you go for long play sessions with no stutters?

Okay, so with that info I have my money on you hitting your VRAM limit (Ram on the gpu) download something like MSI afterburner and monitor it, the 750TI has 2GB of VRAM. You can find MSI afterburner here. https://www.msi.com/page/afterburner (Go to the downloads section at the top)
